In class we talked about movies as an art form, discussed producing video announcements for the school, and began learning the fundamentals of storytelling.
Our first major project will be writing a screenplay. In order to get familiar with screenplay formatting, we did a partial table-read of the Toy Story script.
The students voted on a name for the video announcement show. They also came up with 3 screenplay ideas and wrote loglines for each.
