A Long Walk to Water Novel Reflection Project

Choose one of the following options:

  1. DRAWING: create a detailed, elaborate drawing or sketch of an important scene or scenes in the book. On a separate piece of paper, write at least a paragraph explaining the scene and how it is important to the rest of the book.
  2. ALTERNATE COVER: design a new cover for your book with a picture, the title, and the author. On a separate piece of paper, write at least a paragraph explaining why you designed your cover the way you did and why it is appropriate for your book.
  3. PICTURE BOOK: Create a children’s book or picture book version of the book you read.  Include images and captions for the major characters and plot elements in your book.  I encourage quotes!
  4. ESSAY: Write an essay in which you explore a theme, or the character development found in your book.  Include quotes to support your points.
