ELA learning target: Reading- Using anchor charts and visual instruction, students will use key words of sequencing to understand the importance of how this text structure helps the reader comprehend a text. Writing: Students will use proper conventions in their daily writing journals. Students will continue to research and brainstorm about an animal that they will create a project about. Social Studies Target: Students will identify the 3 branches of government and will specifically focus on the executive branch and its function in our society. |
Classroom Activities |
Students will use key word strategies for the text structure of sequencing in order to put events in the proper chronological order so the text is coherent (using fictional text). |
