Learning Target:  Students will provide detailed analysis of how a key individual, event or idea is introduced, illustrated and elaborated in a text. (RI.1.3)
 
Learning Target: Students will provide an explanation of how the author’s point of view or purpose is conveyed in the text. (RI.2.6)

Diamante Poetry Writing: Read the directions and complete the Diamante poem. You will write a poem about yourself, a family member, friend, or even a favorite character. Title it with the name of the person/character that the diamante poem is about!  (ELA GRADE)
