Monday, April 6, 2020 NewsELA – Two articles, read, complete quiz, power words and short-response. 1. “Lightning and thunder” 2. “Zeus” Tuesday, April 7, 2020 iReady–45 minutes and at LEAST one quiz (READING GRADE) Wednesday, April 8, 2020 Diamante Poetry Writing: Read the directions and complete the Diamante poem. You will write a poem about yourself, a family member, friend, or even a favorite character. Title it with the name of the person/character that the diamante poem is about! (ELA GRADE) Thursday, April 9, 2020 ThinkCerca: 1. Central Ideas 2. Determining and Tracing a Central Idea Through Details Friday, April 10, 2020 Read! Read your favorite magazine, book, short story etc. I will post some links of online reading if you are limited to hard copy texts at home.
