Week of: Monday April 27 to Friday May 1

Please complete the following tasks by Sunday May 3rd.  All tasks below will be graded.

  • NewsELA – Two articles, read, complete quiz, power words and short-response.
  1. Establishing a New Routine for Distance Learning
  2. Procrastination and Homework

*If you are ready for a challenge, please look for the EXTENSION activity attached!

 

  • iReady–45 minutes and at LEAST one quiz

 

  • Haiku Poetry: Watch the Zoom tutorial, read the directions and complete your own Haiku poem. Follow the PowerPoint, brainstorm, draft and then type your poem in the last page of the template.

 

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES: 

  • Zoom Fridays with Ms. Simmons & your Classmates!
  • com: Listen to a new book during their unlimited streaming!
