Learning Targets and Learning Criteria

Student Goals: 

Examine Egyptian achievements in agriculture, calendar, pyramids, art and architecture, hieroglyphic writing and record-keeping, literature such as the Book of the dead, mummification

Classroom Activities

Students will complete rotations this week. Our topic will cover Egyptian achievements. Students are responsible to complete their rotations by the end of the week.

You will read the Documents AND answer 5 questions on Socrative J

Rotation 3: Free Space  

 

 

Rotation 5: Mapping

 

Complete the mapping activity using your text books.

Rotation 2: Your Choice  

You may choose to do one of the following:

-Use your ipad to research an Egyptian Pharoh

Then Create:

1) Word Search using terms associated with the pharaoh

2) A foldable about the Pharaoh.

Rotation 4: Small Group with teacher

 

Read “Meet the Mummies” in our National Geographic Magazine. 

 

Rotation 6: Vocab

You will grab a vocab paper from the basket. Fill in your definitions, and paste the vocab paper into your spiral notebook.  

 

 

*If you cannot get these activities accomplished in class please use the internet at home to complete*
